Hey, [CONTRACTOR]:
I thought about it some, and I guess I don't see how the inside of my house is going to be done in 2 weeks - it would be great if it will be, but I don't think it's going to happen. It seems the earliest that [STAINING SUBCONTRACTOR] will get in there will be in 1.5 weeks, and I think it's going to take him a couple of weeks to do everything. And the stairs still need to be re-done - which I'm guessing will happen after [STAINING SUBCONTRACTOR] is done.
If things can get done by May 1, great. I would really, really like everything (including punchlist items - like patching the hole in the ceiling above the kitchen sink, finishing the wall switch patch in the south bedroom, switching out the bathroom door hinges, etc.) done by May 12. Is that a realistic expectation?

[Me],
I think May 12 will be no problem at all.

[CONTRACTOR]-
Are things still on track? I haven't seen any progress over the last 3 days.

I called [CABINET SUBCONTRACTOR] today to see when the cabinets will come (including the painted ones). He says they are at the painters and that he would call. I haven't heard back yet. It is very aggravating. I apologize. We will try to get the fence in tomorrow, and get the brick picked up. As soon as the cabinets get in I will have [FINISH CARPENTERS] finish the rest. [STAINING SUBCONTRACTOR] wants to start around May 1, and the flooring guys want to get in there that week as well. I think that all the cabinets and trim work will be done by the end of next week.
Sorry,
[CONTRACTOR]
